Montserrat rock climbing The Paret de l'Aeri - Easy Rider
The central shield of this wall, vertical and without interruptions, can only be climbed in challenging free climb or not easy aid climb. However, on the sides, especially to the left, the wall has a more broken relief and less steepness, making rock climbing routes a little more accessible. In any case, all the rock climbing routes are long and demanding.
Easy Rider was considered a sport climbing route in the eighties. But nowadays, with the new standards of "safety," we can assure you it represents a severe challenge for those not used to climbing with long "hikes" between bolts.
Mandatory and very runout when V or lower; if you want to lead it, be sure you are very confident in V+/6a.
The good news is that the rock and the views are excellent.
